This demo shows a large image (16k x 16k pixels) being stored in FLIF format and viewed interactively.
The image is divided into tiles of 512x512 pixels each. Zoomed out previews are stored in a sparse pyramid. Not all preview stages are required since FLIF images can be truncated to create many of the previews. Hence, the sparse pyramid consumes only 5% more space than the base layer.
Tip: Hold Shift while dragging with mouse to select area for zooming.
